This year we got the opportunity to celebrate both the auspicious day together. So Yuva Goonj members took this opportunity and celebrated it with the kids of Paathshala. The event started at around 5pm and the kids were very much excited about this event. Firstly, we gave them information on why this day is celebrated and mentioned some of the names of our freedom fighters. Then, we organized some activities for the kids, like singing National Anthem, making them draw the National flag, singing patriotic songs and some dance performance. During these activities we found out the hidden talents of these kids, like most of them were really great painters and artists. After all these activities, we distributed stationaries and eatables which we had arranged for them.
Last to conclude but cherish to forever ,we would like to say that, seeing the smile on their faces truly made our day special and it encourage us do more for the innocent kids in coming days This made us realize even with the smallest of efforts we can bring happiness in others life.
